Visited on Saturday night for the first time,(it won't be the last). This is what a country saloon should be like. Country dance lessons from 7-9 pm then a live country band or country songs played by the DJ during their breaks. Staff are very friendly though the waitresses were a bit hit & miss. The manager and her partner are great hosts. They do have a limited menu but it has everything for satisfying any hunger pangs you might have. Items include Nacho's with proper ground Beef served with Salsa & Sour Cream, Wings, Steaks Fries, all the usual stuff and though we didn't have any ourselves what I saw looked good. A really good crowd of more "mature" people. Not crowded by youngsters just intent on getting as drunk and loud as they like. They have something going on every night they are open from Salsa lessons on Wednesday to country jam Thursday, live country band Saturdays, blues jam Sunday. I've been to the other so called saloons in Edmonton. This is the best for country music. One down side I'm afraid. After a really good 4 hours of country, at midnight the music seemed to change to "techno pop" or some other such stuff. Anyway not country, so we left at that point though they are open till 2 am. Cover charge was only $5 dollars. Bargain!
