We decided to try Sherlock Holmes Pub on a recent trip to visit our Lawyer downtown. The Pub was not busy and there was a sign asking us to seat ourselves. We sat in a booth - grimy, but standard Irish Pub fare and we spent ten minutes trying in vain to get the attention of any staff member. After we had waited ten minutes, we stood up, put on our coats and left.

Very loud and dark - not a great place for larger groups. The food is decent, and the drinks are good. The deep fried pickles (only available late in the day) are worth the visit.

We have stopped there several times and have not been impressed with the snack foods! Service is always good!

The inside reminds me of a British pub (being British!) which I guess is the intent of this establishment! I like to visit here and sit on the patio in the summer, you can people watch as people go to and fro from Churchill Square and enjoy cold beer and nice pub grub. Good atmosphere!

The fish and chips were good and served warm. The waitress/server, well lets just say she did not want to be there. I was there for a 'staff lunch' hence no alcohol but that would not have made the huge dust balls on the ceiling look less offensive.....that bad taste could be skin and hair balls falling in your food....but in all fairness my pub fare was good.
