MTY Food Group, a Canadian company, acquired TacoTime Canada in 2008 and now operates 28 fast food concepts. We've built our business on authentic food and friendly service! TacoTime fans know Vicente, the voice of TacoTime, but did you know Vicente moved to Canada from Mexico in 1999. Feeling homesick he visited TacoTime and soon joined the Team. Vicente continues helping TacoTime keep it real as a Regional Manager for our chain! Amigos, TacoTime is dedicated to quality ingredients and special extras that are rare in fast food chains...like starting each day with slicing fresh tomatoes and preparing our original recipe salsa! We use only quality ground beef, real Canadian Cheddar cheese, and hand-stretched tortillas to deliver the fresh taste of Mexico, eh!

Ok, this is a fast food restaurant with a good locaion. I find their food tasty and a bit of a treat since we don't have a taco place in our city. The food price is as expected and worth a visit.

It's Alberta - what can we expect?
Drive thru is always busy. They get the order right. It's fast. Napkins always in the bag.
Food is what you expect - this isn't Mexico.
My husband loves the Deluxe Mexi Fries.

We waited over 20 minutes for two beef burritos, with only two other customers in line. Also, my boyfriend watched them grab a burrito from under the warmer and throw it in the microwave and reheat it. And, it was still cold!!! Never going here again. Avoid this place!!!!

It's always disappointing to see a long time business in GP seem to lose it's focus. The staff at Taco Time are about as lacklustre as anything I've ever seen. No one there seems to enjoy their job.
The food is about the same as usual, but they've discontinued some of the specials that used to regularly bring my wife and I in for mexican food.
Overall, there is very little that draws me to come into this location anymore. The sit down portion of the restaurant is cheap chairs and cheaper tables - like eating in a high school cafeteria.
Maybe one day, GP will get a decent Mexican place.

When time allows during trips to grande prairie we stop at taco time for. Burrito and mexifries. Don't go here expecting a 5 star meal, expect a tasty Mexican snack. They do have a drive thru with is handy.
