This is a very affordable, no frills motel. There is no refrigerator or wi fi but the rooms are clean and large and the location is unbeatable. You sit on your deck and have a million dollar view of the ocean. We have been staying here for years and are never disappointed.

Room Tip: second floor in the far east motel

Bucket list adventure: eat a lobster roll while IN Maine. Family staying 1 mile down the road. Perfect location for us. Stayed 3 nights in waterfront hotel in room 88. 2nd floor, end unit. No remodel, room frozen in past, BUT at 79.00 DBL occupancy it is GREAT. Reservation system is archaic but 79.00 a night, I didn't care. Far from everything and can't walk anywhere as the road has no safe sidewalk but at 79.00 a night, I don't care! I would book the same room again. Water was 50 feet from deck of the room when the tide was in. Avacado green tub but it was 79.00 a night. Great value. No mints on the pillow, no toiletries, paper thin walls but 79.00 a night! Our family was close by so it worked out perfectly for us. When we left we paid over $200 a night to stay at the Park Plaza in Boston and didn't have the view and the sirens and traffic drove me crazy. To each his own.

Booked the same 2nd floor Waterfront Room for the past three years. Beautiful location.
No frills or amenities.. but a very affordable location to spend a week / compared to room rates in town. Has a beautiful pool on top of hillside. Spent a lot of time fishing off the dock. Hosts very gracious.

Room Tip: Far East Building - Excellent Views

I reluctantly write this review because I want to be able to get a room there.First of all there is no shampoo or a hairdryer in the room. There is a limited number of stations on an old tv.The room is a bit old but our bathroom was redone and the place was very clean and and large. The deck has a view to die for. To sit on that deck off each room and watch the boats go by is awesome. The beds were quite comfortable. We had stayed here 10 yrs ago and the prices were the same.We paid $59 which is about $100 less than most places in the area. You can tie your boat up to there dock,You can launch kayaks or canoes from there beach or use the pool. This is becoming a not so hidden gem

Room Tip: choose one of the blgs near the water.Second floor is best
