This is an old motel but has been recently renovated. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. The only drawback is once the people in the room above were up we could hear them walking around and the floor creaking. Any noise outside carried into the room very well too. The hot tubs are large and convenient. We didn't try the restaurant as the downtown area was so handy to walk to we ate our meals there.
you can not get lost in Jasper as there are only 2 main streets. This hotel is at one end of the main road and as it only takes 20 mins to walk thru town, it is not far from anything. Hot tubs were great, the rooms are small but clean and well kept. there is a resturante on site for meals we had breckfast there on both days. staff friendly and helpfull. free parking and Wifi access which was spot on
We stayed in the Miette Suite which has been updated recently. Very comfortable king bed, spacious room with all the basic amenities including a small fridge, mircowave, kettle, sink and counter. Sitting area in front of the fire place is accommodating. Time to update the TV... still had an old 32" CRT version. The room was clean and fresh looking. It is on the second story of the inn and there are no elevators. There is a restaurant on the property. We had only one meal, breakfast. They had a special of $6.99 for a pretty hearty start to the day.
My room was clean but only very basic. For $200 per night, I expected more. The room and bathroom were very small and the bed only adequate. I understand they will charge whatever they can get and $200 seems to be the going rate in Jasper during this time of year, but I felt that I should have received more value for that price. A larger room, better bed, better linens and breakfast would be good for starters. Also, be warned if requesting a first floor room, there are still stairs to get to the room. I had to park a distance from my room and one of the advantages to this older type of facility should be parking places in front of your room so luggage, etc. does not have to be carried as far and up stairs. My only recourse is finding a different facility next time and warning others. This is not the worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed in but it is the worst $200/night room I have ever stayed in.
We were up to Jasper for a long weekend of hiking and relaxation, and the staff at the Mount Robson Inn made sure we had an excellent experience. Our room was quiet and very nicely appointed, and the hot tubs were just what we needed after a long day on the trail! Many thanks to Alana and all her co-workers at the front desk for supplying us with weather reports, trail recommendations, and breakfast/dinner suggestions that allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our stay!
