“Excellent clean renovated room!”
Reviewed 22 May 2010

We booked a jacuzzi suite for 110$ through Expedia. We booked the Ramada but Super 8 took over. The room is very clean and very modern. I am very impressed with this hotle, jacuzzi is next to bed and there is a mini fridge. Walking distance to some restaraunts, went to Original Joe's great food, noisy but happening!

I do not understand how people would recommend this place. By all means, I am not a king and do ask for a royal treatment but this place is a joke. Room cost me 150.00$ and is seriously outdated. Olg green carpet, old magenta furniture, vinyl flooring in the bathroom and old linens truly make it an 80's experience to be forgotten.

Although the lady at the fron counter was nice, you can clearly hear peoples conversations in the hallway and hear loud thumping souds from upstairs. Hit the best western or Comfort Inn 1 min away, I don't think you'll be disapointed.

A clean comfortable place to stay. Convenient for most of the local amenities (in walking distance) with easy access to the major highways. Friendly knowledgable staff.
Excllent value for money

I booked a King Suite online and it turned out to be a ground level room next to the noisy road. The room was dirty so we relocated to another one. It was no better. The front desk staff was rude and would not allow us to move to another room despite the fact that there were lots of empty ones.
The room itself was set up in a very awkward way. Toilet and tub was in one little room while the sink, mirror etc. was out in the main room. The plasma TV could only be viewed
from the Jacuzzi tub. You couldn't sit on a chair or the bed to watch it.
Definitely not worth the money.

The hotel is located in the right place with access to the major north and south highway. It is immaculate. The room was well appointed. I would definitely stay here again. And it was reasonable.

Stayed on business for one night. Building is newer and rooms were clean and well equiped with fridges, coffee makers and wireless internet. Complimentary continental breakfast. Tim Hortons right across the parking lot. Pizza place across the street. Was suprised when bill was only $100/night. Overall a very comfortable stay. Would stay again if in red deer.

We booked this hotel as a walk-in based on its new appearance on the outside and price ($99/nt with breakfast included).

With a pre-teen, we always look for hotels with a pool. When I asked about a pool, the hotel reception recommended a City run recreation facility about a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel that has a wave pool, water slide, hot tub, exercise room, indoor track, etc. for a modest fee (approx. $16 for a family day pass) - we decided to go and were pleasantly surprised.

I don't think this hotel is new, but it is really hard to tell. The exterior and interior looked new. Exercise room & breakfast were satisfactory quality. The room was clean, comfortable and had a flat screen lcd tv (picture was clear but colours were a bit faded). Laundry room was convenient, but dryer took over 1 hour to dry clothes.

Hotel is a 1 minute walk to a Tim Hortons (across the small parking lot) and is within a 5 minute drive to many of Red Deer's restaurants. Traffic noise at the back of the hotel (where we stayed) can be a bit high.

I would recommend this hotel based on its' value. After spending well over $200/nt to stay in the Rockies, it was a bit of a relief to spend less than $100/nt on our trip and have breakfast included.
