On our trip to BC Canada staying with friends for Christmas and New Year we were informed of the Pioneer House Restaurant that it was a place to visit for breakfast/brunch. We did. The Crab Cakes Benny are to die for! With the Hash Browns and copious amounts of coffee this set us up for the day. We made a second visit later in the vacation for Brunch. The Farmers Sausage Skillet was delicious. Plenty of eggs and coffee again. The ambience was perfect for a cold Winters day at Christmas time. The service was second to none and Chantelle aka "Chicken" was a great host and really joined in the festive fun and banter with us. She put "Thank you!" on my receipt. I recommend that if you can reserve a table at busy times. The wait otherwise is not too long. Warm and cosy. Provides gluten free meals and those with other allergies. Great for families and small groups. The scenery outside is fantastic. Plenty of car parking bays. A definite must if you are in the area.
