I'm here for a conference. Organizers told me to bring towels but not to worry about coffee. Oops. The opposite is true. If you're coming, bring basics for a microwave, including spoon, fork and a mug. I had plastic items in my bag (thank goodness), and the folks downstairs gave me some paper hot cups. I walked down to Value Village and bought myself a big mug for coffee and yogurt.
There is a good, large clean, working refrigerator, and there is a kitchen area if you have pots and pans with you. This would be a terrific place to come in between camping stints, as you'd have all your stuff with you and you could get cleaned up, but still be able to eat cheaply.
The crew in the lobby are very friendly and helpful; were willing to set me up with a food delivery app. That makes it easy to get a meal if you don't want to walk far, but it's a close-ish walk (15 minutes) to where there are lots of food options. Most important for me was coffee...at least one place opens at 6:00 am.
The beds are a little hard for an aging body, but they're clean, and the temperature in the dorm seems reasonable in this May heat.More
