Excellent 1 bedroomed condo. Clean and well equiped.
Location is not great in the middle of a RV park. Taking a walk in the complex was difficult - tooo many golf carts!!! Duck lake was difficult to get to.
Lots of activities offered - but the regular residents do not want weekly visitors to join them and were most unwelcoming

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. We had two rooms (2 families), and the floors of both rooms, both carpeted and the non-carpeted sections, were filthy. My children ran around in the rooms barefoot, and after half an hour on carpeted floors, their feet were BLACK. It puzzled me as they did not step outside and did not wear shoes, so it can only be the floor of the room itself! I made them wear shoes inside the room after that and their feet remained clean after. I dropped a piece of onion on the kitchenette area and I wiped it with a DRY paper towel, and the paper came up BLACK. The 'beach' is so tiny, and the water is dirty. The 1-bedroom suites are spacious, but the dirt everywhere really negates everything. The environment outside the room is nothing to speak of; it is basically a RV place and is functional. There is nothing beautiful about the property at all. The cleanliness of the rooms is much worse than 2-star motels I've stayed in by the sides of highways. Really, do yourself a favour and stay at home rather than stay here.

We were on our first trip to Canada. A few months earlier we visited a Canadian tourist information booth at an RV show. We were told not to miss Kelowna and they were right on! Surrounded by beautiful lakes, orchards and wineries this is a gorgeous location. We were a little early (Late June) to get fresh fruit but the sights were wonderful. Lots of water for boating, swimming or fishing. The park downtown on the river is a must see especially on the weekend. Plenty of activities for the kids and quite a variety of people to watch. The only down side was the traffic - seems that many people know of this garden spot. We camped at undoubtedly the best campground we've stayed at in 15 years. Holiday Park resort had four pools (lap, adult, family, inside) with hot tubs at all but the lap pool. There were several hot spots but unfortunately didn't have wireless throughout the park. Each site had a large cement parking spot with a gravel lawn, hedges between each site and meticulous landscaping throughout the park. They even had a golf course. There is a wonderful restaurant just off the grounds within walking distance that provided a delicious meal.

We were worried that after seeing Banff and Jasper and the Canadian Rockies the rest would be a let down. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful town with its own beauty. This is one stop I would recommend to any visitor. Plan to spend a week or two there is more than enough to do in the area.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the place very much like a giant parking lot. Guests were stuffed into small lots with folk that had purchased their own spaces.

Most of the owners in this facility were unfriendly and generally regarded renters with distain. It's not like we expected to be treated as royalty, seriously though it was quite evident that most owners were not in favour of any renting visitors.

This resort has strict curfew (around 10pm) ; returning after this time have to wait until the security fellow gets around to unlocking the gate( took about 25 mins.) and then you're written up in his little book for being tardy(felt just like high-school).

The adult center amenities were reasonably good. Although it looked like the hot pools could have used a cleaning. The only place high speed wireless was available was only in the adult center.

We were sent off by a very unfriendly hostess at the front desk who expected our ability to read minds to be at a premium first thing in the morning.

Very expensive place (about $70/night) and not worth it. Furthermore, the so called"beach" area is quite laughable at best and is on the shore of a very marshy lake. Stay away people and let the good owners alone to enjoy their "sweet life".

I dont know how I missed all of the bad reviews when making reservations, however, we were under the gun since our points were running out of time and we had to book something or lose the points.

Well starting with the furniture, just as in 2006 it was dated nothing has changed, I think.
The same furniture is still standing, and somebodies pushy grandma arranged it alll with the BIG sofa facing the wall and and NOT the television, so we did a bit of furniture moving.

Any 3 star motel that I have been in advertising WI FI had it available to the very last room. At Holiday Parks i had to sit on a chair on top of our balcony table to get a LOW signal, oh and my toe had to be touching the bar b q grill. Five Stars means wi fi available anywhere you go in the resort or advertise it as LIMITED wi fi.

Their is an inadequate amount of lounge chairs around the swimming pool and no cushions so you get to lay on hard wood, which I imagine only John McCain wouldve enjoyed after his POW stint in Vietnam.

You cannot walk around the pool because the lounge chairs are set up close to the poolside, but that may be a positive thing because the surface around the pool is soooo rough you cannot walk on the pool deck without flip flops. Our two year old tripped and fell caused abrasions that bothered her for the rest of the day, crying everytime she was touched on her knees. The pool deck is separated and crudely patched with cold asphalt.

Look, if you are looking for a nice RV resort and you are over 70 years old this place may work for you otherwise if you are a family that wants to have fun and sometimes be a fun noisy family STAY AWAY or the mean stares of stiff upper lip pensioners will make you as uncomfortable as they possibly can.

This is NOT a family friendly resort. It is a glorified trailer park.

Duck Lake is a duck lake for ducks only so fuhgetaboutit!! The lake is NOT a feature that should be advertised or the fact that it is poop infested should be disclosed from the start.

The staff hasnt the foggiest idea of what is happenning where or how the facilities operate. We asked 3 staff members regarding the Canada Day celebration NOBODY knew. I asked a staff member about the sauna and how to use it and she demonstratively displayed how inconvenienced she was by the question but knew nothing about it anyway.

I thought that it was a nice place to stay. It was clean and cozy. Yes the furniture is a little dated but it is still in pretty good shape. We had a studio condo but it was big enough for my husband and I. We used the kitchenette often during our stay to make breakfast lunch and a couple of dinners, we even used teh BBQ one night. My husband worked out in the gym a few times and we enjoyed the indoor pool. There are a lot of holiday trailers on site but they are all clean and tidy campsites. It is just outside of Kelowna, whihc is good because then you avoid teh heavy traffic of being right in town. We both enjoyed our week long stay here.
