We stayed for 5 nights due to a family event. It was over the long weekend in July Canada Day . I booked for 3 families and we had rooms all in a row on main floor. We had no issues with the rooms. Breakfast was available at 6 am and was adequate. We spent time at the park which was walking distance from hotels and the fireworks on July 1 st could be seen from parking lot. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Overall pretty good.

Room Tip: Main floor facing parking lot

I was for two nights in this hotel. The size of room is enough and room is clean. Staff is very friendly. I can recommend this hotel to everybody. Thank you to the staff. A small complementary breakfast will also be offered which OK.

Went here for a one night get away for a girlfriends birthday and for the price it was pretty great. Big rooms, nice beds and clean bathrooms. They put us all close together which was very nice and convenient and we really liked it because the pool and hot tub were open until 11.! It is in a sort of seedy neighbourhood but they lock all the doors at 9 to help with this problem. I would use this hotel again if I was in Nanaimo.

The hotel is very nice and clean, with comfortable bed and it is in a very good location, close to the harbour. The best of the hotel is the staff; who are all friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast is good.

It's a bit dated but in very good conditions. I would recommend this hotel for staying solo or with family.

White spot restaurant very close to it, at a walking distance.

It was too bad we were only staying one night before heading to Tofino, because this was a cozy hotel with great staff. Maurine at the front desk was lovely and shared some great stories and tips with us for Tofino. I will definitely stay again if in BC!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was offered a late checkout which was super appreciated. I came with dogs but the hotels.ca didn't tell the hotel I was coming with them so if you book this hotel with pets contact them directly. Thankfully they were able to accommodate me with a pet friendly room. The hotel is a bit on the dated side but it was clean and comfortable. Pillows not so much but the rest was fine. The price is right being so close to downtown. The customer service was excellent and their continential breakfast offered lots of options which I enjoyed. I will surely stay here again if I am in the area. Really a pleasant stay and the customer service is what made this place a real gem.

From the moment you walk in the front desk staff were happy to meet and greet you. They were awesome. Our room was big and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. If there was a downfall it would be the air conditioner did not cool the room. I like a very cool room. However it was manageable. Check out and breakfast went smoothly and breakfast was very good.
