We spent a week at the Hotel Penticton and had a great time. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We were close to wineries, great restaurants and golf courses. If you are a golfer, try the WOW golf course up on the cliff with unbelievable views of the lake.

Staff was friendly, room was meh...
Carpets were dirty walking up to the room, paint was peeling in the ceiling and bathroom door. Found someone else’s dirty clothes under the bed. Barf. They were doing upgrades on the hotel and one of the workers told us that no one should on the floor we where staying on. Quite rude!

24 hours after booking and almost 3 weeks before my scheduled stay I needed to cancel. I booked through the Coast site but apparently I didn’t read the fine print. No refunds, no changes, no credits, no options. The hotel was completely sold out for the night and still I was rudely given no options. My advice, check the fine print people!

In this particular instance, you reserved the Websaver rate via Coasthotels.com which does state that the rate plan is non-refundable. Our guests are offered a lower discount for these types of rates, given the ability to cancel is restricted. Unfortunately, there are no options the hotel can provide with this rate plan, and I apologize that this was your experience.

Do not believe what you see online...Everything you see is a deception. I have stayed a lot at the coast hotels. Most hit a 8 to 10 out of ten...Penticton hits a 2..Between the construction that was not mentioned on the site when booking to the deficiencies we found in the room..to the saber saw booming at 8 am to the ditch we had to traverse to get into the lobby to the beds that were ill made...to the web site that did not represent what you received....OMG I can go on and on...I must say that the staff were pleasant and that they understood our disappointment....It is a 2 star at best...And just smoke and mirrors on their website.......Never again!!!!!

The bed was super comfortable and the staff was really friendly. We had a nice view from the balcony in our room. It was within walking distance to the Event Center and the Casino which we loved.
