I am a member of several Hotel chains but in this case, for a wedding, & because other people would be staying here, I booked a room directly back in February for July 25th for 3 nights. On July 12 due to a sudden family illness and hospital admission it was evident I could not go & I called the Hotel. Because I was 2 days short of the 15 day cancellation Policy, I was charged anyway just 3 days later in the amount of $102. ( not quite the full night fee) They didn’t even wait until the 25th to charge me even though I had emailed the company explaining the medical emergency on the 12th & requesting leniency & no charge. They did not even reply to my email. Just a heads up to anyone booking this Hotel. If in any doubt you will be able to make your Reservation, think about it and use a booking Company or a Chain. The rating I feel is fair in view of the non response to my email and the charge to my credit card 10 days before the day I was originally expected to arrive. I acknowledge that my request did not meet their standard Policy. I am disappointed they showed no courtesy in replying and zero compassion.
