Great location & customer service- suites due for minor updates

The staff was supper friendly, from the checkin folks to the people that clean the rooms. Customer service was 5 star. We stayed in one of the ocean view suites and there are a few modifications I would suggest if you do any updates on the property. The shower is a bit tiny for a higher end hotel. I would make it a little larger and add a rain shower head and wand. I would also add a microwave to the tv/fridge area. Lastly, I would put a real thermostat on the gas fireplace. It has a funky rocker swtich to turn on /off. when we thought we had turned the fire off before going to bed it would magically turn back on in the middle of the night as the room got colder.

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit. I believe that it is our staff that makes the lodge what it has become. We have replaced all the showers with large square showers, however, there was one that could not be replaced due to a drain issue, I think unfortunately you may have been in that room. If the rocker switch is turned completely down, the fireplace will not turn back on. We are happy to supply a microwave if requested. We would love to welcome you back again.

Deconstructed Elegance

Possibly a strange title but that is what first comes to mind. We have stayed at various other properties in Tofino and Long Beach Lodge, by far, is our favourite. The setting, accommodation, and staff are all top notch however pretension belongs elsewhere. We are building a home in Tofino and frequent LBL throughout the year. Every visit brings a new welcome experience.

Retirement Getaway

My wife and I had always wanted to holiday in style in Tofino. The Long Beach Lodge Resort was above our expectations. The service by everyone was second to none, the room was fabulous and right next to Cox Bay. Compliments to the head chef and dining room staff as we had several meals in the Great Room and all were delicious. We definitely recommend Long Beach Lodge Resort to anyone and will be back in the future.

This is a wonderful resort with all the expected amenities and many extras. The staff go over and above to make you feel special. The food is superb. We recommend splurging on the "crab and seafood platter" - you'll be glad you did! We forgot something in our room and were pleased that they were kind enough to mail it back to our home. Highly recommended for a top notch getaway!

Unforgettable stay

Can't beat the location, and the service was truly above and beyond :-)

Each cabin has a hot tub, but there is also a "hot pool" and sauna by the surf club, which I really recommend checking out. You can grab a surf board from the surf club and run right out onto the beach.
