Seasons has a remarkable venue perched high on a hill above the city with a beautiful view of the surrounding gardens and the city lights below. The restaurant is multi level which increases the ability of all diners to enjoy the views. There is also a rustic patio area with several large brick fireplaces for al fresco dining in clement weather. All beautifully done. We started with a delicious appetizer of stuffed mushroom caps. Unfortunately somehow they were late in arriving at our table so they were gratis which we thought was the correct way to make amends for the slight imposition. The meals were the specials that day and mine were fabulously tender beef ribs with all the appropriate accompaniments. Even the desserts were beautiful. I love that place and always go there for special occasions because the venue is so special. Of course it was also the restaurant chosen to host the summit between Clinton and Yeltsin so many years ago and believe me it is up to even that challenge.

every dish here is exceptional and so is the view of the park. make sure you get a seat by a window because the changing seasons in the gardens are breathtaking while the food melts in your mouth. delectable vegetarian dishes as well as casrnavore entrees. in the winter you can sip a hot cidar instead of nauche, unfortunately a vancouver winter seldom has snow, but on the rare occassion it does the ambiance outdoors and in is well worth the visit.

Besides good food the reason why clients go and eat at Season in the Park is because of the amazing view they have overlooking Queen Elizabeth gardens.
TIP: Go on a sunny day preferably in the morning or lunch time. Brunch menu is always good. One restaurant you can't go wrong. Very well managed for years.
