We took two trips with the Prince of Whales crew and it was amazing!
Unfortunately, no whales for us on the first day but that’s just how wildlife is. The whole crew was still making the best out of the trip, showing us around the Gulf Islands, seals, sea lions, bald eagles…..

We took advantage of their whale sighting guarantee and booked in another day where we got to see a humpback whale and lots of seals and sea lions. The whole crew really knows their stuff, does everything to guarantee a great experience while still being respectful to the environment.
Special shoutout to Wilma, Anthony and Sandy for the great trip(s) and sharing their profound knowledge with us.

(Also, there’s complimentary coffee & tea and a free photo service which is awesome!)

It was an amazing experience at the sea. Captain Anthony knew how to deal with the whales and the waves and the tides!
Wilma was an amazing guide and naturalist talking to us about the different wildlife and scenery.
We saw a humpback pretty early on our trip.. saw colonies of seals and sealions.. was amazing!

Lots of action!

Review of: Half-Day Whale Watching Adventure from Vancouver

So nice to have options of where to sit (indoors, covered or open air outdoors), as well as washrooms and snack/drinks (non-alcoholic) on board!.
The staff on this tour are very friendly and love to share their extensive knowledge. We were lucky enough to see a humpback, porpoise, eagle and orca pod (same pod in two different locations). For the most part it was just fins and blow hole actions, but the second time we saw the orca pod got to see them enjoy some dinner and then celebrate with some breaches and tail slaps.

Highly recommend this tour and company!

Must Do & See when in Vancouver

This was a truly remarkable experience! The team on the cruise was exceedingly knowledgeable about not only the two types of whales we observed, but the myriad of other sea life — the various types of birds and seals specifically — we took in on this trip. This is a MUST DO when in Vancouver!

Amazing

Been twice now. Such an adventure! Wilma is so knowledgeable and fun!
Saw more than just whales - saw sea lions, bald eagles, surf scoters, and of course the beautiful view of the Vancouver cost from out in the strait of georgia is breathtaking

What an experience!

Review of: Half-Day Whale Watching Adventure from Vancouver

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff were soo friendly and informative and really you feel like you were part of the crew. You could clearly passionate about their jobs b and marine life.
The boat was really clean and modern and we felt very safe on board. There were plenty of viewing spots and everyone had lots of opportunities to see the wildlife.
Luck was on our side, not only did we get to see a humpback whale (which was unusually out of season), but also a pod of orcas (one of which fully breached the water), numerous porpoises, a large group of seals and a bald. Its pot luck what you will see, but we were so very happy with what we did. Its worth every penny!
