“Beautiful Hotel at a reasonable price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2012

We stayed 4 nights at this property mid-May 2012. Very happy with everything! Our pleasantly decorated, modern room was a nice size, with comfortable bed, great floor to ceiling windows provided a view of beautiful waterfront. Bathroom, spotlessly clean and attractive, although not large. Front desk staff, extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered room service twice.... Food was delicious and delivered promptly. Ate at Preston's, the restaurant on second floor & were very satisfied with service and menu. Located away from the crowds and noise of streets like Robson Street, but within easy walking distance of Shopping/Dining areas, as well as Canada Place. Convenient Urban market at the foot of the hotel, great place to grab a quick snack or stock up on bottles of water or juice. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in downtown Vancouver. We loved it!

New, fresh hotel. Loved the location, overlooking Coal Harbor. Watch the seaplanes come and go. Great comfort and security. Comfortable. Eco friendly. I will definitely go back.

Room Tip: Ask for a high view. Cannot be beat.

Great location near the sea wall, Stanley Park, and Canada Place. The rooms are very nice and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a nice little market and breakfast cafe within a block and the restaurant at the hotel is quite nice as well.

The location in West End is one block from the seawall and close to Canada Place (convention, cruises) as well as the majority of the downtown attractions including Stanley Park, Gastown, Robson Street and WestEnd, but yet far enough from the crowds for some peace and quiet. The skytrain terminus Waterfront at Canada Place is about a 10min walk away, so if you're looking to catch CanadaLine to and from YVR airport, or get to other places like Yaletown, Chinatown, Westside than it's real easy. It's not busy during the day, and it's safe to walk back at night. Urban fare, 7-11 and other shops are one block away if you need small groceries or simple breakfast/snacks.

The hotel is only 2 years old, so it's fresh, clean and modern. The rooms are quiet, neat and spacious, and the hotel is eco-friendly allowing guests to recycle wastes with different bins provided in the suites. Bed was comfy. I had a corner room (1614) with full length windows that gave a view of the mountains, water and Stanley Park. The staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient.

I didn't use the Restaurant Preston, gym, pool or business center so can't comment on them.

Overall, I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor corner room with a view

I love to stay at this boutique hotel for - the friendly welcome and attention, comfort, location. Some of the rooms may be small and the staff is always accomodating to my requests, if possible. And the restaurant downstairs is also a plus.

I came with my husnand & two younger children (5 and 3) to stay here a week for our family vacation & we loved the hotel. It's in a perfect spot close to Robson street and has a 7-11 and Starbucks both close by as well. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice and I wasn't sure at first if it would be kid friendly but they were very nice and accommodating. It's always nice to go on vacation and be able to go back to your hotel room and it be nice & clean and you can relax. I highly recommend this hotel & will be going back in my future stays in Vancouver.
