The Vancouver Aquarium continues to be a fantastic place for all ages. The Wet Lab ( extremely accessible) the 4D movie (sharks) and the Douglas Coupland exhibit VORTEX, all totally worth it. The staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly!
Lots of local items for sale in the gift shop

Excellent aquarium. Great fun and good learning experience. Wonderful spot to take young children with something for everyone.

I and my kids (5 and 9) spent nice two and a half hours there. We especially enjoyed the dolphin training.
However, the entrance fee is hugely overpriced, since for 1 adult and 2 children I paid ~ 85 CAD ( - 1 point)
Another issue (-1 point) is that you CANNOT exit the place without passing in a huge souvenir shop. A tired kiddo will definitely pick an unnecessary toy on his way to the exit and that will add to the already expensive visit. Please consider making a regular exit (like the one Seattle Zoo has).

Great facility located in Stanley Park, lot's of amazing animal life along with the only 2 walrus in the centre. Definitely worth the experience..

$40 per person is pretty steep, but it's a very good aquarium. The otters are definitely the highlight, or at least we thought so.

Food options are limited, and at $7 for a hotdog, not a good value, either. Definitely eat elsewhere, but that's typical of any attraction.

If you love jellyfish, they have at least 6 types.
