The Westin Bayshore is a stellar hotel in many ways. The rooms are quite nice and spacious. Some have harbor views. The front desk was very helpful. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right on the harbor, steps away from Stanley Park. There are several good restaurants a short walk away. It is a bit expensive, but worth it. The only negative is the parking situation. Parking is a short block away in front of the hotel in a public parking area. The hotel bills you for parking, which is pricey. The lot itself had VERY small spaces and was very cramped overall with not a lot of openings. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights but didn't make use of the spa, gym, pool, nor made requests to the service staff, am not able to add much on the feedback most reviewers had to give apart from that they were not observant enough to refill the body wash which had emptied. Had one meal at the restaurant, music was loud, food was good, service at the restaurant was patient and friendly despite us being a large boisterous group. The hotel is very large, feels it's quite a distance to get from one end to another. The surrounding Coal Harbour is idyllic when the weather is right. It is a beautiful stroll to Stanley Park and gorgeous place to depart on a cruise from. Gastown is also within walking distance to the east, while English Bay and Robson Street to the Southwest.

The Westin Bayshore is my favourite hotel in Vancouver. From the moment we checked in service was impeccable. We had a gorgeous room over looking the Coal harbour and Stanley park. He breakfast buffet is great with a fresh omelette station and lots of delicious breakfast items, hot and cold. The indoor pool had a nice hot tub and large pool. Great service and wonderful stay.
