I fly into Vancouver often for business. When I do, I always stay at the Blue Horizon. This time they upgraded me to the private suite at no charge; which was a one-bedroom, two-bathroom unit. I felt like a high-roller. The location is perfect, right on Robson at the centre of everything. It's less pricey than most of the other hotels simply because it is no-frills and basic. The rooms are massive for your dollar. The views in essentially every room are amazing and everything is neat and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. What more do you want?.

Room tip: Robson can be busy and loud so the higher up you go, the quieter it is.

Modern and clean. Reasonably priced and right where you want to be. Has parking but a t $18/night for patrons is a bit steep. Good for families, business and getaways. This is our “go to” hotel when staying in Vancouver. Recommend.

This hotel was recommended to us and I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The price of hotel is excellent and much cheaper than others in the area. You are right on robson with everything near by. Lots of great shops and restaurants and very close to transit. There is easy parking (for a fee) and was easy to drive in and out of. Our room was a great size with nice city views. We had especially asked for a bathtub and it was excellent. The best size bathtub I've ever had in a hotel. The beds were comfortable and overall the staff very helpful. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is in our room (808) you could hear the elevator going up and down. It wasn't super loud but noticeable. However, could have easily been remedied with ear plugs if I'd thought to bring some. Overall great location, modern, spacious, clean and with friendly staff it will certainly be somewhere we will go again when we find ourselves back in Vancouver.

Rooms were a good size. The views were fabulous. We opted for the water view. Unfortunately we were on the go all the time we were in Vancouver and didn't have the time to really enjoy the more expensive view. So skip the extra charge if you'll be on the go. The balcony was a big plus too. I travel a lot for work and stay at a lot of hotels the Blue Horizon was clean and a very pleasant mid priced hotel. Consider staying here. Plenty of good restaurants near by too. I didn't eat at the restaurant Abode so I have no idea how the food is. All the employees were wonderful too.

This was our first time staying at the Blue Horizon and we would highly recommend this Hotel! Our stop in Vancouver was the sixth of seven stops around the USA and Canada to celebrate my 50th birthday and our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The Blue Horizon acknowledged these celebrations by upgrading our room (and then one of our son's rooms). All three rooms had amazing views of Vancouver. The hotel is well located on the Robson Street shopping strip and is within easy walking distance to all major tourist sites. The only issue we had was with the lift. One was out-of-action due to renovations, but then another stopped working, leaving only one lift in use for guests on 30 floors. This led to some long delays getting to and from our room. The restaurant attached to the hotel served a well-priced and hearty breakfasts. The concierge recommended a couple of great restaurants for dinner and always assisted with every request.

Room tip: Book a room on a high floor
