I had a room with a shared bathroom. The room itself was small but clean and functional, the shared bathroom also clean and well maintained. It might be you have to wait for a few minutes but in my case it was OK. Location is very close to all major sights, worked week for the weekends I spent there.

We chose a location convenient to the Skytrain from the airport, as well as attractions and transport. We had a room with a private bathroom, though it was across the hall. It was a good size, clean and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable, there was coffee-making facility in the room, breakfast was simple but good and staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the free wi-fi. There's no elevator, but staff carried our bags to the room. We took them down ourselves when we left, but could have called the desk for help. Location was convenient for downtown attractions, also transport to Lonsdale Quay, North Vancouver, Lynn Canyon Park and the suspension bridge, and more. There are lots of good eating places within easy walking distance. We very much enjoyed our stay and would return on a future visit to Vancouver.

Many thanks to you Margaret for your kind words. I loved the way you embraced the city just like so many of our Aussie guests, it is a treat to see. Happy trails.

Myself and my partner found the hotel to be a friendly and comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is close to a range of Vancouver attractions. There is some noise at night, however, this is par for the course in ground level accommodation in a city.

A friend and I booked a room last minute at the Victorian. We loved the location, so close to many attractions. The room was very well kept, clean and cute! Definitely atmospheric! The price was definitely reasonable for downtown. When we arrived there were no parking spaces left at the hotel because of a movie crew, but we were sent to a carpark a block away that felt safe and secure. In terms of the shared bathroom...It was not really an issue, although occupied in the morning - I simply went one floor up and used that washroom. There was a private sink inside the room for our use, which was very convenient. The breakfast was basic but well laid out. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and intend to visit again!

Nice bedroom with king bed. No kitchenette. Breakfast included but very basic.
No elevator - stairs only. Limited secure parking on site. Helpful desk staff. A soap dish would be helpful & some dimmable bedside lights. We found it necessary to keep the aircon on all night or too hot & dry otherwise. Great location to walking anywhere downtown and Canada Place. My favourite family restaurant The White Spot nearby.
