Lovely gardens, beautifully maintained. We spent over two hours wandering about and could have easily spent more, had we not planned other events for the day. The gardens are sort of arranged in two main areas, and for us, the right (east) side was much more interesting. West side was more of an arboretum, and the rhododendron was done blooming for the year. Overall the gardens are just so beautiful from both the micro and macro perspectives. We plan to return in different months in order to experience different blooming seasons.

The grounds are beautiful with flowers, paths, groves of trees, water features, and the fun maze. There is also a nice cafe for lunch or a snack with outdoor seating in nice weather.

One can easily spend an entire day at this park - though we scurried through in about 2-3 hours, it would have been nicer to go a bit slower and take in the presentation more fully. There are some intricate botanical displays and modern art interspersed among the various walkways/paths. We didn't have time to visit the onsite restaurant, but it looked pretty good.
