Lovely gardens, beautifully maintained. We spent over two hours wandering about and could have easily spent more, had we not planned other events for the day. The gardens are sort of arranged in two main areas, and for us, the right (east) side was much more interesting. West side was more of an arboretum, and the rhododendron was done blooming for the year. Overall the gardens are just so beautiful from both the micro and macro perspectives. We plan to return in different months in order to experience different blooming seasons.

The grounds are beautiful with flowers, paths, groves of trees, water features, and the fun maze. There is also a nice cafe for lunch or a snack with outdoor seating in nice weather.

One can easily spend an entire day at this park - though we scurried through in about 2-3 hours, it would have been nicer to go a bit slower and take in the presentation more fully. There are some intricate botanical displays and modern art interspersed among the various walkways/paths. We didn't have time to visit the onsite restaurant, but it looked pretty good.

This place is terrific. WE were fortunate enough to take a n accessible cart tour of the garden. Our guide was wonderful. She knew her botanical stuff and also provided interesting tidbits of information. The park is huge and cannot be fully enjoyed in one visit unless one spends an entire day. Don't miss this .

Hands down the best botanical visit at an excellent admission price. This is a gem not to be missed. The grounds are laid out beautifully and plants are labeled so you can easily identify what you’re looking at. Leisurely strolling through ferns and trees. Sections are created by geographic plant locations and filled with flowers native to that area. Several small ponds and lakes, even a waterfall. Small wildlife has found their way into the gardens. If I lived in the area I’d be a yearly member. Wear comfortable walking shoes. There’s a restaurant and coffee shop as well as a gift shop.
