We were looking for quality accomodation central to Vancouvers downtown attractions with a 5 & 8 year old in tow. This was a great location for young kids if you want to be able to walk around with out a car. It was adjacent to parkland with a boardwalk, playground & pond. In the other direction was an historic crane & the Houseboat Sea Village. It was an interesting walk past Emily Carr & the Concrete plant to the market, buskers & food court area.
The Hotel was wonderful we haven't stayed somewhere so well appointed since a five star resort stay in Phuket, Thailand. We had a magnificent view up False Creek towards Science World. Where we saw the sun rise each morning and the Aquabuses started their day. The restaurant also had water & marina views with very good service. The breakfasts were of generous proportions & were delicious.
The only draw back was it was quite the walk to the ferry terminals if doing it repeatedly with small children.
Our hotel stay exceeded our expectations & we all can't wait to go back!More
