Went there for the first 2018 dine-out night today. Very disappointing!! The food was actually not bad but the service was horrible. The restaurant was fully booked tonight, we were seated to a sort of overflow second floor. There were about six seven other tables there. I am guessing the kitchen as well as the staff were not sufficient to even accommodate the first floor, therefore guests on the second floor were totally neglected. Drinks took 1/2 hrs to be served, not mentioning food. 1 table left after an hour only had 1 appetizer served. When the servers bought food up, they were so confused as to what each table ordered. It was so obvious that they totally forgot about the second floor guests or chose to forget and served all our plates to the first floor guests. This is the most terrible dining experience i had. Please don't go there, it will ruin your night!!

My favourites are the tofu goreng, Singapore laksa, and sambal chilli trio. I keep coming back here because the service is quite friendly, and the food is very good. My family is from Malaysia and we find the food quite tasty and authentic. Oh and the otak fish dish is very good. Would love to try more as the menu looks really interesting.

I can only attest to the food as it was take out; we ordered the roti canai to start, the rendang beef, nasi kunyit, Malaysian laksa and kuih dadar for dessert.

The roti canai was authentic to the ones you can get in Kuala Lumpur with the slight sweetness and char from the flat top, the curry sauce was thin like the authentic type and could've used a bit more spice and flavour. The rendang had a rich gravy with a good amount of heat and nice pieces of beef and potatoes and the laksa was filling and the delicious curry soup was rich and creamy and spicy with fish cakes, tofu puffs and shrimp and meat. The sambal was fiery hot as well but not very heavy on the fish flavour. The kuih dadar (pandan crepes with coconut and palm sugar) was the perfect sweet bite to end the meal, it was light and very satisfying with the slight floral pandan taste accentuated by the nutty, caramel palm sugar and crunchy coconut.

Would definitely order from here again.

We keep returning to sample different fare and it is never disappointing. Prices are reasonable, the good fresh and the staff is helpful. The only disappointment was the waitress lifted my glass to refill touching the rim with all fingers.

This restaurant is great for parties of almost any size, from two people up to even 15 people. We always order the same dishes, which never disappoint. The roti chenai, soft shell crab, and tofu goreng are great starters. For main dishes, the sambal chilli trio is excellent, which consists of okra, eggplant and green beans. Also you must try the laksa, otak fish, and black cod with asparagus. Another dish you should try is the chicken curry. It's boneless, but I recommend calling ahead and asking for bone-in chicken as I think it's tastier. The kuih dadar for dessert is delicious.
