The rooms were immaculate, the restaurant had delicious food, and the hotel was centrally located. The staff were always pleasant and helpful, even after we checked out and needed to store our luggage until late evening after we had attended a wedding. We were offered a changing room to change into comfortable clothes at that time. This is a 5 star hotel in every way.
If you can manage it, do yourself a favour and stay at this hotel! It was our first stay this week and we are forever grateful for the kindness of all the staff while we were in town for a high stress family event. We experienced world class friendly and personalized customer service. The rooms are peaceful, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is surprisingly quiet given its downtown location. We even had 2 delicious breakfast feeds in the restaurant downstairs as well as great drinks in the bar.
Such a great little hotel. Conveniently located in the city, remarkable attentive staff, quiet, lots of amenities, and all in all, a great visit. We were able to choose between free parking and breakfast and since my friend and I had separate rooms, we were able to take advantage of both choices. Her all-electric car was charged over night by the staff and we were made to feel welcome and like important guests. I'd gladly stay there again.
The staff of this hotel could not be better! Stanislaw must be the happiest and most hospitable person we encountered in years of travels - and he even remembered us from our last visit 2 years ago, when he made our trip to Vancouver both memorable and so enjoyable.
The hotel is lovely, with lots of small and appreciated touches, like a welcome note, a Nespresso machine already filled with water, fluffy towels, bikes, lemon water at night, and ever smiling helpful staff.
We will never stay anywhere else on our next visit, and are very grateful to Stanislaw for making our stay so special!
Ii have stayed in numerous 5 star hotels in Vancouver, tThe Loden is hands down my favorite. I arrived late in the evening and was warmly greeted and attended to. I must reiterate the Loden has a superlative staff from top to bottom, a gorgeous deco r and a warm and welcoming environment!
