We had the best stay at the Loden Hotel. This was the perfect hotel to celebrate our 20th year wedding anniversary.

The service is top notch, attentive, and hands on. Stanislav and each team member we encountered were all amazing. Everyone made us feel welcome and special with each interaction.

We have stayed at other boutique or quote unquote “5 star” hotels that only make you feel like a number, and the Loden is the exact opposite of that.

We had a Signature Corner room, which was very quiet. It had very soundproof windows and zero noise from the hall, above, or adjacent room that shared the wall beside. The room was equipped with all amenities that one would expect including an espresso coffee machine, dyson hair dryer, and mini fridge with items for purchase inside.

The location was perfect, centrally located, and close to everything. We didn’t try the bikes due to rain, but they looked like nice bikes.

If you are looking for genuine and unpretentious service, don’t waiver and book with the Loden.

we were met by david the mgr. who brought in our luggage, displaying he never puts himself above his employees!

there are some very sweet touches from fresh lemon water to the room each afternoon, accompanied with some sweet treat.

the restaurant adjacent to the restaurant made our stay convenient as for our reservation breakfast was included & it’s an amazing tasty menu. i never tired all six mornings going in there for my morning meal as everyone there greeted me with such smiles & a desire to be helpful. they have a super happy hour as well.

in the morning, there’s a fancy cappuccino machine for a super cup of coffee. and in the afternoons, a glass of wine is there as well.
it’s a lovely offering.

i was able to order a specific pillow. in my case, it was buckwheat; whereas my partner, requested down.

extra towels and body wash were always available upon request. the service was fantastic!

lastly, everyone from housekeeping to front desk to other helpers, etc., always greeted us with what seemed to be a genuine smile.

it was a memorable, wonderful stay!

We have stayed at this hotel many times now. Vancouver has many fine hotels, but the Loden has the best location. Melville is a quiet street and the hotel is shielded by other buildings, keeping the traffic noise minimal. I have never been awoken by an ambulance siren when staying there.

The staff is outstanding and they treat you like a celebrity. Their warmth and courtesy are amazing. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the restaurant is excellent. We have stayed in many hotels in the downtown core, but none can match the charm and comfort of the Loden.
