Just returned from a meal at Coast. Sat at the bar and were well advised and entertained by barman John B. Made excellent cocktails (specific to our tastes) and was really knowledgeable about the food, its origins, and tastes. Order the chilled seafood platter and a dozen local oysters and you won't go wrong. Wish we could find a bar and staff like this in Auckland. Don't miss it when visiting Vancouver. Highly recommended.

A group of associates and I recently had a culinary experience worth telling everyone about. Graciously greeted by the friendly hostesses we were promptly seated. Our waitress,Andrea, was efficient friendly and helpful. Fish and Chips appetizer style were to die for. A selection of succulent oysters followed and were sweet tasty morsels of delight. The clam chowder new England style was without a doubt the best I have ever enjoyed. Two tasty mussels included in the white creamy broth. Main course, local halibut cooked to perfection. Flakes of delicious white meat a true delicacy. I will return. Soon!

A busy, hopping place, with fresh fish and seafood. A bit on the expensive side, however.

We made a reservation for our anniversary, but when we got there a young man asked if we'd rather sit outside. And we are SO glad we did. The patio is a bit more laid back. The young man was our server, Kyle. He was great. He took such good care of us and joked around with us. He also was very knowledgable about the menu and tips for our visit to the city. The manager, Michael was also great in making sure we had everything we needed. He was very funny and helpful also.

We had the great pleasure of meeting Chef Pedro. He did some AMAZING things in the kitchen for us. He made us a special version of "poutine" that wasn't even on the menu yet. It was so good I almost went into a food coma. Everything was delicious. He sent out a dessert trio with "happy anniversary" written on in. The personal touch made it special, but it was so delicious the presentation wasn't necessary.

This place is a must when you visit Vancouver. BIG thanks to Kyle, Michael, and of course Chef Pedro. Can't wait to visit again!
