Nothing but incredible things to say about this campground! It was clean, private, spacious and surrounded by beautiful forest and ocean...all ready to explore! Not only was the price incredible, but we were within walking distance of some incredible beaches. We stayed two nights (end of July with no reservations) and we were very happy that we found this location! (We aren't from the Island). The camp host was funny...very nice man. Oh...and they have clean, filtered water as well. Last but not least, if you're looking for a campground where there are not a lot of children, this is the one! There is a campground right down the street which is more kid friendly (playground etc) but this one, we found more couples relaxing and going for hikes down to the ocean. Mind you, if you have kids and love to explore, this is also a great spot.

Dogs allowed on a sandy beach-rare! It was great, even in the rain. There is enough shoreline at low tide for a decent stroll. Water cold, but could tolerate wading. Great forest with large trees on the way down to the water. Bear and cougar country for sure. Worth the drive from our campsite at Goldstream (near Victoria.)

Nice hike in through beautiful forest, a little steep in parts but not too bad. Very nice sand beach. Would be a great place to spend a day. We went on a cool day but really enjoyed it anyways.

Stone and sand beach. Lots of sand compare to others. Very quite. Easy 1/2 km walk.

Water too cold to swim so bring a picnic.

Great little hike for families down to the ocean. Lots of opportunity to explore the coastline. Please consider donations at trailhead for trail maintenance.
