A cute little alley that can barely accommodate 2 people passing. It has boutiques and a couple of restaurants. It has an interesting history of gambling, etc.

Colorful skinny alley in the heart of Chinatown - take a photo touching both walls! Colorful Chinese lanterns adorn the walkway.

What is up with this alley and the entire city of Victoria. Nothing opens before 9:00. I tried to go when there were no crowds so I could take some photos and found it locked. A vendor that works on the alley said they don't open the gates until 9:30. Seriously, this is a public thoroughfare. The whole town is this way. Breakfast restaurants that don't open until 9:00. By 9:00 I've been up 3 hours at least.
