We booked a 3 night stay. Check in at the beginning of our stay was quick, staff very friendly. Hotel was Grand just like in the name. Unfortunately we were given an extremely noisy (pipes banging and clanging all night), cold room with a smoke detector directly over our bed that shone like a spot light on us all night. When we informed the front desk, no questions asked, they moved us to a gorgeous harbour view room. Wonderful view, quiet, warm and cozy, amazingly comfortable bed and pillows. The pool and spa area was very nice, clean and welcoming. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels in this area. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

The staff were so warm, welcoming and genuine. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and larger than I expected. Another bonus was the valet parking which was convenient and valuable especially with small children. I would highly recommend this hotel above all others.

Centrally located....just a short walk to the heart of Victoria sightseeing and shopping....this is our hotel of choice. Welcoming, efficient, and personable staff who will make your stay a comfortable one. Have been staying here for years....and will continue to do so!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Front staff were very friendly. Jose is very nice, polite and cheerful, he always smiles, and when he handed us our receipt he put his hands together and vowed. I have not experienced that kind of hospitality at other hotels. Our room is very clean and spotless. This hotel is in an ideal location, and close to many tourist attractions. One thing that I can recommend is that the hotel must have an airport shuttle service.

The hotel is nice and clean room was nice but check in service was poor. People were polite but all charges were not explained it was not enough to have a credit card on file but they authorized the whole amount plus a security deposit without informing us that this was happening. The hotel is paid parking which I was aware of as I checked out their website but upon check in there was no explanation that parking is builder to the room and that clients did not have to purchase parking from the meters. It is posted all over the parking area that you need to purchase parking.

I am sorry that you were unaware of the various charges during your stay with us. It was unusual for my colleague not to inform you about a preauthorization of the charges on your credit card as it is a procedure to do this. I will follow up with our Guest Service Manager on this issue.
Regarding your experience in our parking lot, beside the sign that advises says you entering a paid parking area is a sign advising hotel guests to see the Front Desk for a parking pass. It is unfortunate that you missed that sign. I hope my colleague offered you a refund.
