I love this theatre and visit several times a year to hear the Victoria Symphony. The acoustics are great and the size of the theatre makes it hard to have a bad seat, although I prefer not to be in the upper back, which is very steep, and avoid sitting under the balcony. They have a good selection of musical and theatrical works.

Best theater in Victoria, very grand and comfy seats. Lots of great acts come through here. Get a middle seat on the balcony for the best view.

our latest visit was to see a Victoria Jazz Festival performance. This is a beautiful theatre to enjoy any performance. Elegant and well maintained decorative finishes inside the theatre. We were up in the upper balcony, but honestly still a great view of the stage, does not feel that far away. No bad seats really, in my opinion. The acoustics in the theatre are excellent and makes listening to the musical performances a pleasure. Two separate lobby refreshment areas keeps the traffic flowing. Average prices for refreshments. Credit cards and cash accepted. You can bring your beverage in to the theatre if you ask for a plastic cup. Everything very organized. The theatre is well located in the downtown area. Almost got locked into our parking spot, as we forgot the gate goes down at 10pm at the underground Sussex parking lot on Broughton, and had to leave the theatre a little early before the event had ended. Other parking options around so don't park there for evening performances.

Beautiful old theatre in the Grande Style, easy access, great seats and acoustics. Great online booking site that is very clear and has links to groups performing here.

Went here for my university convocation ceremony. The theatre is a great venue and very nicely located. Minus parking trouble, i quite liked it! Wish we could come back to see a performance
