Victoria is full of historical facts everywhere but Wharf Street is one huge history lesson. Take the time to walk the Street with a guide or take a self guided walk and you will be amazed at the stories.

Get some great views of the inner harbour and or landmarks or watch float planes come and go. The street runs along the waterfront. Lots of options to begin your walk many streets. Lots of shops and restaurants. Some street performers are there to entertain you .

Every weekend it is a must that we take in this street, which has everything from restaurants, shops plus a fantastic view of the harbor. This street runs along the waterfront, so if you head away from the water it gives you variety of additional options at Government Street.

Wharf St could be so much more. It's a mix of shops and restaurants that range from good to avoid the tourist trap.

I'd say just avoid until you reach the end towards Chinatown where there's Fiamo, Paboom, Swan's.

We walked along Wharf Street several times during our visit to Victoria over Canada Day weekend. There are a bunch of interesting shops and restaurants. There are many good views of the Inner Harbour and occasionally you will see a seaplane circle and land. Also, there are some very entertaining street performers. We had great weather during our visit and had a very enjoyable time.
