Needed a hotel that was central to our friends' places and favourite haunts. The location was PERFECT. Our room was lovely and very cozy and clean. The bed was comfy! The service was superb -- staff very helpful and friendly. This place is reasonably priced as well. We highly recommend Rialto to anyone.

Our only regret was not being able to stay longer and try out the bar and restaurant next door!

Hotel Rialto is in the middle of everything and yet is an escape from the everyday. The room is beautifully appointed and the property is maintained immaculately. During my week long stay, I felt very at home...the staff were friendly and helpful. I will most certainly be back and recommend Hotel Rialto highly.

The Rialto is a great property located within close walking distance to all the great attractions. The staff is extremely helpful and helpful. The cheese platter is a nice touch. The bartenders love to mix special drinks. tell them the basics and they will do the rest.

The room's décor was upscale and classy with plenty of room. The location was perfect, it was a short walk to the waterfront and shops. The Hotel is across the street from the city hall and one block over to China town. The neighborhood is somewhat eclectic. There were many restaurants close by and the Hotel's own restaurant and bar had wonderful food and drink options. If someone wanted cheap eats there is a Subway, Burger King, and by-the-slice pizza joint one block down. The welcome cheese plate and daily free hot beverage and pastry were a nice touch. The Café Vaneto also serves hot breakfasts and lunch. We had a junior king suite with a sink, microwave and mini fridge that was handy, we also enjoyed the sitting room with a second TV. We took advantage of the Hotel's green program that gave us $10 daily credit in the restaurant for not using daily maid service (which we always prefer anyway). The staff was very friendly from the start and they were super helpful many times answering our many questions about local sights and services. One of the coolest things about the Hotel was the downstairs level under the lobby that had beautiful Asian furniture and a history of the original Chinese owner and his influence in Victoria and BC.

Room tip: they have heavy curtains to close out the nighttime traffic and street noise

We loved the Hotel Rialto. The location was great, the staff were friendly, and the room was enormous and very well furnished. We were surprised to find a hot drink and pastry were included for breakfast every day. We would definitely stay there again
