Spacious, comfy and well situated

We were not very familiar with the Victoria geogaphy, but we really lucked out in choosing this hotel. It is very close to the wharf and waterfront, as well as the Government Building. Downtown is just a 5-10 minute walk as well, with plenty of shopping and dining. The lobby is not terribly swank, but who cares? Our room (suite) was large and comfortable, even featured a microwave as well as a fridge. Parking was very convenient, a large lot just behind the hotel that always had available spaces. We could not be happier.

This hotel is amazing! Very comfortable and spacious suites, it feels like you are in our own nice apartment with fully equipped kitchen and nice decor. It is in walking distance to all the attractions. I think it was the best hotel I visited in Canada.

We stay at the Royal Scot when we go down to California for the winter, so we stay on the way there and back, we just love it. After 3 days of travelling to come home, it's like such a relief when you open your hotel room door into the Royal Scot, it feels like home, comfortable surroundings, it just feels like home. The staff are amazing and very helpful and the landscaping outside is truly beautiful. They even have a restaurant inside the hotel. If you want a great place to stay, the Royal Scot is the one in Victoria, prices are good and you are right at the harbour where you can take a beautiful walk around to the marina. And if you are catching the Black Ball Ferry, you are a half a block away, you really have to try this hotel, outstanding!

Room tip: All the rooms are good, I have been staying there for years and have any numerous different rooms, all have been great.

Great room, clean, quiet, convenient, nice indoor pool, games room for the kids, excellent price and the best location for visiting Victoria. I would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. My son and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and then later played a game of pool and shuffle board.
Aside from all the amenities the location is great for walking around downtown and the inner harbour.

This is a clean, quiet hotel one block from the Black Ball ferry, and close/walking to all downtown Victoria has to offer. We had a studio suite room, which included a full kitchen and living room, in addition to the bedroom and bath. Room was impeccable, kitchen was well stocked. Lots of natural light and cozy feeling. Rooms are rather "grandmotherly" in their decor. And the bed, I think it must've been a full instead of a queen. Didn't get a very good nights sleep as the pillows are also foam. And, the room was WARM. We turned the heat completely off and opened two windows and got out a fan! Seems like the central heat supersedes the temps, as the hallways were broiling. So - all in all a fairly decent stay. Would make sure to choose a king bed next time and maybe take my own pillow?

The hotel is perfectly located, is older but incredibly clean. We stayed in a manor room, one bedroom with a pullout couch and the room was huge and comfortable. I will absolutely be staying here again whenever I return to Victoria.
