We booked a last-minute trip to Victoria in late March during spring break and got a good deal at the Days Inn for two nights. I was expecting a dingy budget hotel, but was very pleased to get a room that had recently been renovated. Although small, it had new furniture, hardwood floors and was very clean. And it had a view of the inner harbour! Location was fantastic and very walkable. Free parking, wifi and hot breakfast. The bar and restaurant at the hotel were great. Creative menu and great staff.
The one downside (which was pretty comical) was being woken up the second night by a woman having very enthusiastic...fun...in a neighbouring room. Be prepared for thin walls!More
