Nice park, well maintained. Good place to walk or let kids run. Feels like an oasis and a great change after you've been though the inner harbour. After enjoying the park Don't forget to stop for icecream nearby. Best icecream we found in Victoria. Go for the pint of soft vanilla. Enjoy it on the outdoor deck.

My wife and I spent over 2 hours at Beacon Hill Park because of it's beauty and serenity. There are amazing photo opportunities all over the garden. Fountains, ponds, ducks, peacocks roaming around, bridges to walk over and beautiful flowers in bloom everywhere. They even have a real putting green to practice on. It is free to the public.

We stayed in Victoria for over 6 nights and 7 days. Beacon Hill was one of our favorite stops. We highly recommend going.

We came through here back to the city from the coast road. A nice oasis within the city to get away from it all. Well used by the locals. There are a few formal gardens and loads of ponds and lakes. The petting zoo was very popular with the children

Absolutely fine walking through this large urban park will have you going back for more. Start of Douglas Street entrance, past the ponds, large trees - which house a heron rookery, and head south to the ocean at Dallas Road. This is a good place to watch the ships go by and if you are lucky some ocean creatures.

Beacon hill park is a beautiful place to visit, walk, have your packed lunch, etc. This park is always well maintained in order to keep it so beautiful. The petting zoo may be a little stinky but always fun for the whole family. Just walking through the park is a joy in itself.
