This is a beautiful spot, amazing flowers and birds. Very close to down town. Lots of parking and goat petting.

Such a beautiful park with a playground and petting zoo for the kids (don’t miss the running of the goats!), lots of paths through diverse grounds - and nesting herons if you’re there early enough in the season. Beautiful ponds, wandering peacocks, musical performances - what’s not to love?

My wife has a broken ankle and limited mobility. The walking paths are wide and easily accessible. A wheelchair could also manage this park. Watch for wandering peacocks, and don't miss the rose garden. Beautiful trees - some very large - and ponds await your camera.

While at the park, be sure to go to the "Beacon Drive In", a staple for locals for over 50 years. It is now "walk up/in".
