We attended as a group of 6 ranging in age from 50 to 85 years. Enjoyed the new "gold rush" exhibit. Had been to museum a few times before but still found things we hadn't noticed before. We visited in June and there were a few groupsi of kids perhaps for year end field trips. They were not well behaved but museum is large enough you can find something else to look at until they get through. Museum is clean and well laid out. Lots of information and presented well. Definitely a place you would appreciate on a visit ti Victoria.

The museum is a great way to spend a rainy morning. The exhibits are engaging and we'll organized. The building is monumental and we'll maintained. While somewhat pricey the museum shop has some very unusual and unique gifts to browse or purchase as a reminder of you travels. Take some time and enjoy an excellent museum experience.

Visited the museum a few days ago. Interesting and well designed museum with a lot of information about First Nations life. Well worth a few hours browsing.

The only downside we thought was the cafe in that it is a bit dowdy and could do with a make over but does not detract from the museum. Also good is that it has late opening evenings so enables more to be packed in!

I love this museum. I have visited many times and have never once been disappointed. Granted it is no Louvre but for what it is it is well worth the visit.

Learned a lot about the history of British Columbia. It was very informative and a great place to get away from the heat.
