We spent three nights in Abbeymoore's Rose Room, and our stay was wonderful! From the time that I booked the reservation, until we departed, the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Our room was large, beautifully furnished, the bed was very comfortable and everything was immaculate. We loved our room, but be aware that the sink and vanity is in the bedroom and not the bath. This is not the case in all of the rooms, so if you prefer to have them separated, then I would suggest choosing another room at Abbeymoore. Bedrooms are not air-conditioned, but a tower fan was provided and it was more than efficient at cooling the room. Fresh flowers and chocolates had been placed in our room in recognition of the special occasion that we were celebrating. Such a nice touch, and definitely appreciated! We had absolutely no problems with the wi-fi during our stay. A delicious multi-course gourmet breakfast was provided each day. Chef Henry and his staff do an amazing job of providing guests with a memorable meal. Common areas at Abbeymoore are comfortable, guests are provided with complimentary snacks and drinks during their stay. Many thanks to Jeff and his staff for a wonderful holiday in Victoria!

Room Tip: Rose room is large with a seating area; sink and vanity are in room rather than the bath; back of th...

We stayed in a garden suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were consistently fabulous.Great central neighbourhood and seemed very safe to walk in after dark. Short walk to Dallas Rd and the beach. Only complaint was the wifi; very spotty service and often took a long time to connect.

My husband surprised me with reservations in the Iris room-a lovely room with a private balcony. We enjoyed sitting outside. The room had a comfortable bed. The claw-foot tub added to the decor. The staff added so many personal touches-fresh, baked cookies, a bottle of port and chocolates, snacks and drinks always available. Breakfasts were elegant and delicious.

This is a charming B&B and is our second visit. There is a new owner now but he is very welcoming. Both times we stayed in one of the Garden Suites which are on the lower level. These are a bit different from the bedrooms upstairs as there is a sitting area, kitchen and bedroom. We still went to the dining room for the delicious breakfast but it's nice to have a fridge, etc. . While there, several guests had forgotten to mention dietary restrictions and the chef was very accommodating. Cookies are put out each day and there are other snacks available plus a fridge with pop and juice. We love the beautiful, quiet neighbourhood which is about a 15 min walk to the sea wall and about a 25-30 min walk to the harbour. We took our bikes and were able to keep them near us safely and enjoyed cycling the Galloping Goose and other trails.

Abbeymoore Manor is a gorgeous home situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Victoria - only two blocks from Governor's House and a short walk to Craigdarroch Castle! We stayed in the Master Suite and absolutely loved the ambiance and decor! We so loved having a door directly leading to a terrace and appreciated the lovely view. Our bedroom, and every bedroom at Abbeymoore has its own private bathroom adorned with new fixtures - making it very modern and comfy! The gourmet breakfasts served were absolutely amazing and so delicious. There was always two courses served each morning - never the same - so breakfast each day was always a delightful surprise. I must say though that above all else, the most incredible part of our stay was the genuine care, welcome and service of the innkeeper and staff! They were so welcoming and went above and beyond every day to ensure our every need was met! We truly felt a part of their wonderful family. This will always be home to me and I cannot wait to visit again. Bravo Abbeymoore and your wonderful team!

Room Tip: Every room is gorgeous! We stayed in the Master Suite and it was beautiful!

We went here because it was the long weekend and it was all we could get... We're so happy we did!!! Fantastic: sweet, charming place on a quiet street, but really close to downtown. The house has been lovingly restored and the room was very comfortable! It's definitely worth getting up and partaking in the breakfast which was 2 courses and done impeccably. It was a perfect day outside so we had it on the balcony while listening to the birds chirping and enjoying the perfectly manicured gardens all around. Also, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. We will want to come back for sure! It was even reasonably priced with complimentary cookies and pop, beer, port etc!!!

This is a beautiful B&B with an amazingly friendly and accommodating staff, situated in a very nice area which isn't too far a walk from downtown Victoria if you're in reasonable shape. If you like staying in heritage homes with lots of warmth and creature comforts this place is for you. We stayed in the Rose Room which was ornate and quiet. Had the best sleep I've had in years. Really enjoyed the complimentary snacks and other goodies. Worth every penny and would definitely come back for another stay.
