“Great Bikes, Great People”
Reviewed 18 September 2016

The people at The Pedaler are outstanding both on the phone and in person. They were patient enough to answer my many question on the phone before I rented the bikes. The were very welcoming in the shop and chose the perfect bikes for us. They also came with baskets (don't judge), locks and helmets. We were given maps with the best route for sightseeing marked. We took the marine trail and enjoyed beautiful scenery. The people of Victoria are extremely friendly to bikers and when we looked lost people came to us to ask if they could help.

The Pedaler is located in a beautiful historic home turned inn which only adds to the charm. The bike rentals are extremely reasonable. We kept ours all day but you can rent them hourly as needed. This was a great way to see beyond the Inner Harbour.

“Bike friendly city and people”
Reviewed 18 September 2016

We were torn between the Hoppy hour tour and just a self led tour, so we did both rides on different days. Terrific time, friendly people and will definitely be back. Two thumbs up fro the Pedaler and owners Paul and Rose.

“Excellent "Hoppy Hour Ride" tour and great bikes!”
Reviewed 18 September 2016

Our effervescent and informative guide Karly led us on an easy two hour ride during which we stopped at three brewpubs, all of which have multiple house brews on offer. Our first stop was Spinnakers - a local legend - where we sampled three beers and their house-made chocolates. What a unique pairing! Next stop was "Moon on the Water" where we sampled four beers and snacked on some delicious onion rings! Finally, we stopped at Swan's where we tried another four beers. This might sound like a lot of beer but they were samples, not full pints! Cycling through Victoria was easy, even with lots of roadwork in progress. The bikes were in excellent condition. Highly recommended!

“Friendly, Fast and Professional Service”
Reviewed 17 September 2016 via mobile

My wife and I only ride tandem and sometimes it is hard to find good tandem rentals. We were very happy to find the Pedaler and learn they rented decent hybrid style tandems. I called the day before and they reserved a bike for us. We were there when they opened and the bike and the staff were ready for us. The bike was adjusted to our size quickly and they provided maps, tool kit with spare tube and a lock all of which fit in the pack mounted to the back with some room to spare. We planned on riding the Galloping Goose and the staff provided helpful instructions. The bike functioned perfectly and brakes and gears were properly adjusted and tires properly inflated. They are also conveniently located by the Seattle ferry and Government buildings and museum.
