“Great Concept! Feels Like California in the middle of Victoria. Definitely recommended!”

We were a party of five and were planning on pub hopping Saturday evening in Victoria, when my friend suggested this place. It is round the corner from downtown Victoria and we climbed two flights of stairs till we reached the rooftop. The place was alive with music and people. As we entered there was an absolute vibe of a beach club with pulsating music and lively crowds downing beers and bites. We reached for the top patio which is a little secluded as we were in the mood to relax and chat up. The place was lit up with a warm fire and below us the party was alive. Nothing better! We were served by a most friendly Waitress who helped us with the buckets of corona and our favorite JD with Coke refills till we found out that it was quite a while! For food did not try much but the nachos with added beef is really a huge portion and tasty.
They also have a sand volleyball court made up! Nice place to hang around with your friends and enjoy!

We had a nice lunch at the Rooftop Surf Club on a sunny Sunday.

We were very happy with our food: the menu includes fairly typical bar/restaurant dishes, but with some less usual and better quality ingredients which worked and which we really enjoyed. The portions were decent too, so I think we got good value for money. The cocktail menu is also expansive and sounds pretty innovative. Our server was friendly and efficient.

This place has a handy, central location. Moreover, a rooftop patio is a great idea, especially in Victoria where so many patios face parking lots or roads. Although the entrance stairwell is pretty inconspicuous, the space itself is roomy and pretty comfortable, and they have made some effort towards the beachy theme - such as having a beach volley court.

There is lots of potential here, though not yet fully fulfilled: with some cosmetic improvements, it could become more memorable and impressive. Apparently they're just about to embark on major renovations, so I'm hoping that this place re-emerges as a real surfin' oasis. Then I think it could well be worth a full five-star rating.

Recently had the most wonderful visit to Rooftop Surf Club. My intention was to stop in for a drink in the afternoon and stayed until dark. Fish tacos were great, beer was cold and I can't wait to plan a night with the volleyball courts.

First off, the staff was easily the most friendly and likeable in all of Victoria. They were extremely outgoing and personable, and emphatic about their recommendations - I hate getting half hearted 'oh its good' from servers, but these girls told it like it was, and went out of their way to make us feel special

The food was incredible - fresh, nothing up there is fried, and the options are really fun and funky! Bowls of sliced strawberries for sides, or potato salad and home baked chips? Awesome. Oh, and we happened to be there on 2$ taco day, and those tacos were huge!!

Loved the view, loved the atmosphere, it was just awesome.
