Pescatores has now changed its name to The Kitchen but I believe it has the same owner(s). The drink menu is reasonably priced and we sought the advice of staff, who informed us the Fish Platter at $42 was both tastey and large. When it arrived it was a total disappointment, consisting of 5 prawns, 6 of the smallest oysters we have ever seen, and 3 small bowls with basically salmon spread, cerviche, and an egg plant type dish in the third. There was also perhaps 10 dried crackers and 10 nacho chips....the real kicker was that we requested a few more nacho chips....and were charged an extra $3. .....thanks, but no thanks!!

Pescatores has changed its name to The Kitchen. I went to the beautifully remodeled restaurant with great expectations only to be disappointed with the service and the poor quality food. My partner and I ordered the clamari appetizer only to find it chewy and masked in a curry sauce. My partner had the roasted duck thinking it would be a delight. It turned out to be under cooked and fatty and had to be sent back. On the second try it was better. I had the curry lamb and had to send it back as the basmati rice was hard and not cooked, and the lamb was cooked in curry that was old and lacked any of the flavor that curry is known for. I sent it back and ordered the seafood fruitt de mari which was marginally better. They did apologize for the poor food, but it turned out to be expensive aggravation. Mc Donalds would have been a choice..

This was one of the best ever meals. The Kitchen dining room at Pescatores is well designed with booths for privacy but still with the buzz of a busy restaurant. The meal was halibut, as fresh as could be and perfectly cooked so still very moist and full of flavour. The vegetables were outstanding. Picked (surely that day) from the restaurant's own farm they were absolutely delicious and a real highlight of the meal. Accompaniments were perfectly matched, altogether a mouth watering experience - and the waiter was a gem as well!

Excellent food, good service - on the pricy side of things but worth it. High attention to quality food, and, when we asked, served very quickly. Nice bar too.
