We've stayed at a few Holiday Inn & Suites so we knew exactly what type of room we wanted: the one with the bedroom near the window and a 1/2 wall between the bed and the fold-out couch. Both with their own TVs.
Anyway, this was not the room configuration we opened the door to, even though it was what we booked.
We went down and talked to the staff who were very friendly and accommodating (one was still in training) but there was nothing they could do for us because 1) the hotel was booked and 2) they don't have the room configuration we wanted. Then why does their website say they do and WHY is it called a suite hotel if there are no suites?
ANYWAY, we ended up staying in this room which was so nice I would recommend it for a honeymoon. It's call the Presidential Suite and is very large and has a very large triangle-shaped jacuzzi for 3. Also a small sink/micro/fridge area.
All in all, a very nice place. Just be careful of the misnomer that they don't offer the normal "Suite" type you may be used to.
The pool is great (not huge, though) and the air conditioning was top notch!More
