The museum is definitely worth a visit. Perfect place to go on a very hot, or rainy day. There are fascinating old artifacts including the old tower clock, rebuilt at eye level, and reconstructed scenes from Vernon history with fine attention to detail - an old store, a classroom. We spent just over an hour and learned much about Vernon's rich past and the people who pioneered the town and whose names are now street names. A father and two young children were visiting at the same time and the kids seemed quite engaged in the experience. Recommended to anyone from Vernon and visitors who love historical knowledge, like antiques, or want a change from the beach and wine tours

We liked them all, from the welcome at the counter to the banter with some of the archivists who seem to know the local history.

We have taken groups of family visitors to the Vernon Museum over the past few years. Everyone has a good time. It is free, donations appreciated. Static displays are good, sometimes have travelling displays as well. My son especially likes the animal exhibit.

this is a lovely museum and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to help in any way.We came there in hopes of some more information about Count and Countess Caetani. We were shown books and pictures of their family which brought back some wonderful memories for all of us who remember Sveva when she lived in Vernon.
