Came here as an evening venue whilst at a conference. It was very very busy as the conference was quite large (not the fault of the venue but still).
We had been told we were getting a Squamish meal and cultural experience. The food was simply canapes and a few stations dotted about the room with standard buffet food, I was rather hungry after!
The dancing and art gallery were really good and I did learn a lot but overall I was a little underwhelmed.

We had a great time learning about Sqamish Lil'wat history, the guide was extremely knowledgeable about the First Nations. The displays were good, & there was lots to do & see. It also had a gift shop & a very nice cafe/restaurant. The outside area had been very well organised & we had great fun making rope. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Very worthwhile visit to a beautifully designed cultural centre to learn about the First Nations: Squamish and Lil'wat. Be sure and go on the guided tour, watch the film, and visit the gift shop for lovely items. The guide was great, and gave lots of good information and little tidbits that you wouldn't get just browsing on your own. It was also fun to learn how to make rope from cedar strips, very clever. The outdoor section is interesting and informative as well. The centre was an easy walk from Whistler Village.

The guides are very knowledgeable and obviously care about their heritage and are keen to share. The displays were interesting and informative and could be easily accessed and understood without an audio tour or a guide present.
I particularly liked the outside area as it gave a real feel of being in the forest and was very tranquil.
