Attended a cocktail party here...unique setting. An impressive cultural presentation with a mountain backdrop. Lots of elbow room and function possibilities.

It was good to see some of the culture of the Canadian Indians. Interesting and bought a few things to bring home to remember the trip by.

if you want a cultural experience when in Whistler, do not miss the chance to have a guided tour of the centre. A great place to take the family if it is raining. We learned a lot about the Squamish and Lil'wat cultures through exhibit, film and narration. Shop is expensive, and we did not try the café. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The tour was a really good way to learn about the people who were here before us. The tour guide was very professional and full of information and the film was interesting and informative. We even got to make a cedar root rope!

We went on a Saturday with free crafts being provided, two children (infants and 4 year old) in hand. The upstairs has exhibits on the aboriginal culture of the area. There is a dress up area where children can play with clothes, sit in a canoe, read or colour. Hourly there is a movie and singing. The movie was a highlight for us. Downstairs they were offering rock painting, necklace making, drum making. This was a special offering from what we could tell, but the area it was in again had a play zone. Staff were friendly and informative.
We packed a lunch. The cost of food is high. We splurged $7 for a very small bowl of soup, but it was really tasty.
The gift shop is full of treasures and has items in all price ranges.
Great outing all around, but one time event only I would think. If you have an edge card, there is a discount on admission.
