Had a great time at this Hotel. Location was great with shuttle service every 15 mins. Nice room with the most comfortable beds and pillows ever! Great pool and Mallard Lounge. Found parking to be outrageous at $30/night

Service in Whistler as a whole is phenomenal - and for this hotel to stand out head and shoulders above the rest means it is really special.

Great location on the slopes, awesome health spa for refreshing at the end of the day, ski rental and choice of restaurants on site.

Stayed here for 3 nights while skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb. Awesome place, great room with coffee, frig, and wine glasses ready. The 4 after ski jacuzzi's were the place to hang out, great pools, work-out room with wet and dry saunas. Walk out back door to lift. Free shuttle to Whistler Village was nice.Great deal with lift tickets. Only negative was the exspensive food. Would recommend a stay here summer or winter.

We came here for March break 2012. The rates were fabulous, included our lift tickets. They have valet parking, take your skis and next morning in the lower level there are "ski equipment valets". They get your equipment, you put it on and out you go right to the lift. Worth the extra $. Beautiful hotel, great service, loved the lobby bar, live music at night. Outdoor hot tubs for apres ski!

Room Tip: Mountain side rooms are good for the view, we had a 1 bedroom which had plenty of room for 4 of us...

I had stayed at this fairmont earlier in the ski season and returned for a quiet end of season ski holiday. The service was beyond incredible, I was remembered by many employees from my previous visit and made to feel very welcome and very much at home. I was given (insider local tips) on best runs and live music and had several great chats with wonderful engaging staff. I will definately be back next year!

Room Tip: slope-side corner, great view and quiet!

Trying very hard to find something negative about this hotel, service, location and staff. A must is up grade to Gold, the breakfasts included are as good as Gleneagles Scotland, in a more intimate setting, morning coffee excellent , the cakes are to die for, while the after 4 O'clock spread is not to be missed to take the edge off hunger pains from a day on the slopes.
The staff could not have been more helpful without being oppressive. Rooms well appointed, very comfortable.bed. while the open fire in the room was perfect and an enhancement to any room hotel or not. Skiing again perfect door to door the only problem being which runs to choose for the day.
N.B. Make sure you take half a day out to go on the husky mushing with the Whistler Sled Dog Company.Five star plus.

Room Tip: Invest in the Gold upgrade

Stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler during Whistler ski and snowboard festival with my wife, my 3 year old and an infant. The trip was a celebration for my wifes birthday. Check in was fast, and there was a happy birthday cake in the room waiting for us with plates and forks and napkins and everything else we needed.
Room was a Fairmont room with 2 queen beds and a view of the slopes. Being able to lay in bed in the morning and watch the skiers and boarders coming down the mountain as a great way to start a day and to keep a kid entertained for a while.
Wireless connection was good, we always bring the ipad for netflix in case we need a digital babysitter for a bit of quiet time.
Pools were warm and a lot of fun, not too busy.
The trail out to the lower village is easy to find and its only a 5 minute walk to where all the festivities were going on. Friends in the lower village complained of the noise, we didn't have that issue in the upper village, the relative serenity is well worth the price.
Daily maid service was nice, and they timed it well between our going in and out of the room. The kettle for boiling water was handy for both tea, and for heating the bottles. The mini fridge keeps things cool rather than cold, but it was fine for the 2 days we were there.
On the way out, we had the hot chocolate experience at Portobello. Sitting on the overstuffed leather couches and chairs drinking some of the best hot chocolate I've ever had, great way to end the trip.

Room Tip: The Deluxe category is nice if you need a bit of extra floor space, but even the Fairmont rooms are...
