We used to ski whistler every year but since the new ownership local privaleage has dissolved Edge cards now have blackout dates and not as readily available. Hotel prices through the roof with many excuses to charge Christmas rates in February

everything was fine - no complaints about the actual hotel or staff, but they employed the old game of hiding the exact charge per night per room - first night was extremely reasonable, 2 & 3 were more expensive and only (really) disclosed at acceptance

Despite the representative pictures and assurances of a two full double beds - and paying for such - I was placed in a room that had a pull-out sofa bed and the bath tub right next to the bed. A complete shell game from what was touted to what was provided. Thoroughly disappointed.

Thank you for your review our of our hotel. When you book through a 3rd party and booking the Deluxe category you are selecting a preference on either two queen beds or on one queen and a fold out sofa bed, it is based on availability. Lovely room, well appointed and close to all amenities. Nice to have a little kitchenette in the room for breakfasts. 5 minute walk to the hill or a free bus ride in front of the building. One of the best restaurants underneath the hotel. Hop and skip to the boardwalk and all the shops and restaurants. We will return!

Hi erokosh,

Thank you for this review, we really appreciate you taking the time!

The central location is definitely something we are glad that our guests can enjoy - it just makes everything that bit easier.

Quattro and Alta Bistro are both such great dining experiences, so we are glad you made the most of those being so close too.

See you in the future!

Kind Regards,

Sonia Anderson

I would positively stay here again. The location was very close to the Village Stroll and all the shops we like to shop in. Quite close to the Ski lifts, their underground parking in right beneath the building with an elevator that takes you right there (for a cost of $20/day).
