“Best skiing experience ever”

Best place to ski for all skill levels. I skied only green runs and the rest of my family skied blues and blacks, we always met at the bottom and went up the lifts together.

“Out of this World!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2012

Well what can I say. Both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains were out of this world. The snow was perfect, tons of powdery snow - perfect to board on. There were so many runs to choose from that we struggled to do them all in 10 days! There is a slope for everyone of every ability. Beautiful trees line most of the slopes. The slopes are wide and the chances of bumping into someone is almost impossible! So much space to play in you cannot take it all in! The chair lifts move at a lovely pace so you can suck up all the views, they even slow down so you can just glide off them and not be spat off! There are plenty of places to eat and drink around the mountains and every run is very well sign posted. The whole feel of the mountains is very chilled and laid back. The peak of Whistler is probably one of the most amazing places on the earth - the views are breathtaking. There are terrain parks for the really good jumpers and tricksters out there - very entertaining and somewhat jealous making to watch! I absolutely defy anyone to say they get bored on Whistler or Blackcomb - its just not possible. Stunning, brilliant fun and one visit is no where near enough.

“Well Worth the Saving to Get Here!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2012

If skiing is your passion you need to get yourself to Whislter-Blackcomb. They have something for everyone. And they even have a run that is over 6 miles long! The conditions can be quite variable but this place is world-class. If you're lucky enough for clear weather, it's worth it merely for the views! I had to save quite a bit to get to Whistler, it's not an inexpensive town, but the skiing is really fun and quite memorable. Also, the food options on the mountain are great, one could almost say 'International". If you are unfamiliar with "Poutine", you must try this Canadian treat when you are there.
