Four of us signed up for this adventure and had Eric and his boat all to ourselves. The scenery was spectacular. We saw an osprey nest and bald eagle nest with two fledglings spreading their wings. The ride was both thrilling and relaxing on a river that held surprises and beauty. Highly recommend this excursion for everyone.

We had a great time with Eric and learned a lot about the local area and its history. We had a wild ride to the base of Nairn Falls. The boat goes into some fairly intense rapids, so be prepared to get a little wet (bathing suits/towels are not needed). We have 3 teenage daughters and their opinions were mixed - it was a little too intense for the younger ones. Be sure to bring insect repellent for the wait to board the boat. After our boat ride (which takes about an hour), we had lunch at the Black Squirrel restaurant and watched several sky divers land at the airport next to the restaurant. It was a great outing.

This is a really great tour, made special by the owner/operator Eric Pehota. Eric is a great conservationist whose pride and passion in explaining the various ecosystems in and around the river is captivating, as are his crazy boat handling skills. The ride will not only thrill you as you traverse the rapids, but will also educate you on the area and its inhabitants.

You are picked up at your hotel and it is a pleasant drive to the boat. The boat is well maintained and the driver knew the river. Riding through the rapids and doing 360 s in the open river were really something.

What a great morning on a beautiful river with a great company and guide. The trip started on a calm and peaceful river but progressed to thrilling rapids and white water that was exhilarating. Eric is so knowledgeable about the area, the history and the wildlife and makes an effort to ensure everyone sees and experiences all of the sights. One of the best days and adventures for my 8 year old nephew! He loved the trip.
