I just wanted to take the opportunity to recognize a couple of awesome employees that you have on staff at the Sundial Hotel.
I phoned the Sundial hotel prior to checking in hoping to upgrade our 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom so our son could have our own room. I believe it was “Ceris” that I spoke with that evening. She was super friendly and actually took the time to see what was available and explain the different options and prices. She was honest and told me that there was currently lots of availability and that if I were to call back on the morning of my checkin (she even gave me a specific time) that it would be likely that I could get a much better rate on an upgrade. She mentioned that she would make a note on my reso to that effect. She was so pleasant and I totally got the feeling that she cared and wanted our family to have the best time. She didn’t sound rushed, or bothered, deep breaths etc the way that so many people do nowadays.
On the morning of our arrival I phoned first thing and had the pleasure of speaking with Kristyn. Again, I couldn’t ask to speak with anyone more pleasant and genuine. She was more than happy to pull up my reservation, and sure enough the comments from Ceris were there! She confirmed my quoted rate and availability and provided some different upgrade options.
When we arrived at the hotel, Kristyn was on shift, greeted me with a smile, and was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. She actually remembered me from our phone conversation earlier in the day and the checkin process was quick and efficient. Kristyn provided some great suggestions for things to do around the village, and we ended up getting the exact suite that we spoke about. What a great way to start our little vacation, my family and I are super happy!
It is because of awesome people like Ceris and Kristyn that make us return to the Sundial Hotel each and every year in November. If everybody that we dealt with were like Ceris and Kristyn, life would literally be so much easier.
Just as Ceris and Kristyn took the time to make our stay 5/5, likewise I wanted to take the time to make sure you are aware of what great employees you have here, and that they are recognized. Thanks again for everything, it really means a lot! 👏 😊
